Villa Airport Road

Mogadishu city - 2016

Plot of land over looking at airport runway and Indian ocean spectacular views. When I was growing in Mogadishu, I studied in a school behind this plot of land called 21st October and the main road is called white road due to its construction materials.

The client decided to build 2 villas on the plot that was enough for 4 villas, we positioned the 2 villas on the site plan in staggered shapes so both villas take advantage of the panoramic views.

Each villa has 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms, study, 4 bathrooms and storage cupboards. The living room’s has large scale open terrace that extends the internal space to the rear garden terraces, all is designed smooth step free disability access in mind.  Bedrooms has balconies that extends the internal to external spaces.

Roof terrace has partly covered space, a pergola shade and open space for sunbathing needs, upper roof space holds solar panels, and water tank supplies.

Externally in the front garden the villa has large front garden, covered garage and security block with toilet. The villa has 4m gate for cars and 1.2m door for normal access, the security wall complements the villa architecturally.
