The Capital Hotel

The  hotel  project  is  located  at  the  center  of  Mogadishu  and  situated  at  edge  of  the  sea  cliff  on one  side,  on  the  left  side hotel  has  private  beach  bay  used  by  Somali  fisherman  for  anchoring boats.  The  hotel  site  and  existing  buildings  are  and is  an historic  buildings,  which  existed  for  many year  and  became  a  symbol of  Mogadishu.  

The  Capital  hotel  consists  of  17  story  building  with  one  basement  floor  18  floors  in  total,  which makes  tallest  building  of  it is  kind  in  Mogadishu  city.  The  Capital  hotel  has  standard  single  rooms, standard  double  rooms  and  executive  rooms.  The hotel  on  17th  floor  has  a  presidential  suite  which is  designed  for  top  VIP  and  important  dignitary’s  delegates,  with  all  modern facilities  security rooms,  personnel  rooms,  meeting  rooms  including  Jacuzzi’s.  

The  hotel  has  5  restaurants,  shopping  mall,  conference  hall,  meeting  rooms,  internet  cafes,  mosque for  both  men  and  women,  outside  swimming  pool,  guy  with  saunas,  hair  dressers  and  basement car-parking.  On the 18th floor the hotel has plant room  where  all  services  are  kept  for  hot  water  and air-conditioners.  On  the  roof  the  hotel  has  electric  wind  farm  which  is  designed to  take  advantage of  the  sea  wind  and  produces  a  clean  energy  for  the  hotel.  Outside  the  hotel  has  open  garden  and cafeterias,  mosque  for  both  men  and  women  and  sea  food  restaurant.  Hotel  has  it  is  own  private beach  which  has  direct access  to  the  beach.   

Hotel  is  designed  in  contemporary  style  of  architecture  considering  the  Mogadishu  hot  climate  all sun  reflecting  and  shading  where  considered,  in  the  result  we  created  a  fantastic  peace  of architecture  for  Mogadishu  city.
